🌿💚 A BIG GREENLEAF THANK YOU! 💚🌿

Today was a special day at GREENLEAF PLANTS because Chevelle welcomed her very FIRST shoppers into her little plant boutique! 🥹🪴

Watching her take this step, share her love of plants, and begin building something of her own means more to me than words can explain. This is what her SAE project is all about — learning, growing, building a business, and showing the world what happens when you combine PLANTS, PEOPLE & PURPOSE. 🌱✨

To our very first shoppers today, THANK YOU for stopping by, supporting Chevelle, and being part of the beginning of this journey! You aren’t just buying plants. You’re supporting a student-led, family-operated dream and helping a young entrepreneur grow her roots. 💚

Every first customer, every kind word, every plant that finds a new home means SO much to us. We hope you love your new leafy friends as much as we love sharing them with you! 🌿

And this is only the beginning! 🥰

Thank you for growing with us, supporting local, and believing in what we’re building here at Greenleaf.

Appointments are available, reach out to the page directly if you’d like to schedule a time to come by 🫶

💚🌿 A SURPRISE I NEVER SAW COMING…
HOMETOWN HERO! 🌿💚

I still don’t think it’s fully sunk in yet! 🥹

I am incredibly honored to share that I was selected as a WSAZ Hometown Hero for October 2026, in recognition of outstanding community service.

What makes this recognition so incredibly special is that it was intentionally kept a surprise! Thank you Abby Ayes WSAZ for presenting this to me today, I really am speechless. I had absolutely no idea! To know that people in our community took the time to nominate me and share that they felt my efforts were worthy of recognition means more to me than I can put into words 🫶

To the person—or people—who nominated me: THANK YOU. Thank you for seeing me, for believing in what I’m doing, and for taking the time to make this happen. I may not know who all of you are, but please know that this recognition has touched my heart and just know that I genuinely love each and every one of you who I meet here at the library or out in public 💚

Greenleaf Plant Library began with a simple idea: create a place where people could share plants, connect with one another, and experience the joy of giving without expecting anything in return. What started as a love for plants has grown into something so much bigger than I ever imagined 🪴

Today, Greenleaf continues to grow, and we’re expanding that vision through GREENLEAF PLANTS while creating meaningful learning opportunities for the next generation. Every plant shared, every person who stops by, every kind message, and every bit of community support has played a part in this journey.

I have always believed that the best things we can grow aren’t just plants—they’re relationships, kindness, generosity, and a stronger community 🌿

This recognition may have my name on it, but the love and support of this community are woven into everything behind it.🍃

To everyone who has supported Greenleaf Plant Library, participated in our exchanges, shared our mission, encouraged our family, or simply stopped by to say hello: thank you for being part of this journey. You have helped make something beautiful grow right here at home.

And to those who nominated me, thank you for this unexpected and incredibly meaningful honor. I will cherish it for a long time. 💚

With a full heart and so much gratitude,

Heidi Greenleaf 🌿

PS- your library is STOCKED and full today with some large plants out here looking for someone to love them
