Plant of the week! Hoya Lipstick Black Pagoda

We currently only have two available for sale right now. We love this plant for its purple-ish leaves and that it’s easier to care for because it has thicker leaves than other house plants.

These plants like bright, indirect light and to be completely dried out between watering. We recommend keeping the plants in the nursery pots them come and putting since a decorative pot. That allows better drainage and airflow.

When they bloom the flowers look like lipstick. They are so cool and fast growers when in the right environment.

Purchase these on our website (link in bio) for local pickup or delivery.

Our first pick up for the Plant of the Month Club happened last night. This month’s plant was a vining Hoya kerrii reverse variegated. These are harder to find, though the single leaf version is more common. These single leaf will not produce more leaves while the vining version will continue to grow and put out leaves.

Our next pick up will be on Nov. 1. To guarantee a plant for November, join by Sept. 16. Limited number of plants will be available after that date and it will be first-come, first-served. This plant retails for over $90.
