Should you relocate a tree, or is it better to just plant a new one? 🌳

It's one of the questions we hear most from homeowners in Central Texas, and the honest answer is: it depends. Not every species handles being moved, tree size and health play a big role, and timing matters too, late fall through early spring is the best window here. Cost varies as well, depending on trucking, trunk size, distance, and how accessible the site is.

Fall is here, and it's still a great time of year to plant a tree in Central Texas.

Instead of fighting the summer heat, your tree gets to spend the cooler months focused entirely on building strong roots.
