Start to finish 90s builder-grade kitchen glow-up 🥳💪❤️‍🔥 I made a deal with my friends Kaush & S that if they moved into my neighborhood I’d help them renovate their kitchen… and WOW did we take this space from dark + dated to bright + modern! We painted cabinets, built a coffee bar, opened up a wall with a faux beam, added a custom vent hood, added new quartz counters, installed a backsplash, swapped the lighting + so much more I’m probably forgetting haha. We worked on this at night after work and on weekends for 6 weeks! What do you think??!?!?!?

Replying to lily 🎸 ✰ What do you think of Parker’s bathroom!?! Every old house has its secrets, and this one needed all new plumbing 😅 It had cast iron drains and they were literally completely rusted shut 🥹 He also had to get a new sewer line that goes all the way to the street because it was full of roots! Not really the type of surprise you want when you move into your first house! The house was also sinking and had to get a bunch of new beams and supports 😱 Because all the plumbing had to be replaced and new beams installed…. a lot of the walls in the house had to be cut into! In the bathroom this left us with the opportunity to move some things around and make it more functional 🥳 Definitely sad we weren’t able to do more on our trip out there but I hope this was at least a big push in the right direction for him! I’m sure we will be back to help out out again 🛁 Make sure to follow me for more home renovation updates!

Replying to | DIY & Design ONE. MORE. DAY. 😅 A big item to check off our list today was finishing up the backsplash. It was SO helpful going through one of Home Depot How-to guides before starting that project.
