Another home project complete! 🏡🔨

Out with the old sliding door and in with the new! This one turned into a little more of a project than just swapping out a door — removing the old slider, opening everything up, installing the new Pella sliding door, repairing the surrounding area, and putting it all back together.

What a difference! The new door looks so much cleaner and brighter and gives the whole back of the house a fresh, updated look. 🤍

Love seeing the progress from demolition ➡️ installation ➡️ finished product. Another project checked off the list! ✅🔨🏡

Out with the old, in with the new! 🏡✨

This flooring project made a huge difference throughout the first floor. We removed the old carpeting and worn flooring and installed new wood-look flooring to create one continuous, updated look through the living areas, dining room, kitchen, and hallways.

The rich, warm tones give the home the character of hardwood while creating a cleaner, more cohesive flow from room to room. We also worked around the existing cabinetry, fireplace, stairs, and original wood trim to keep the character of the home intact.

🛁 Bathroom Makeover — Before & After

What a transformation! 🤍

We took this bathroom from dated, dark, and divided to a space that feels bright, open, calm, and completely refreshed.

The old corner shower and oversized tub were removed to create a much more functional layout, including a large walk-in shower finished with soft neutral tile and a subtle blue-and-sand mosaic floor. 🌊

And now that the frameless glass shower enclosure is installed, the transformation really comes together! The clear glass keeps the shower feeling open and spacious while allowing the beautiful tilework to remain the focal point. It gives the entire bathroom a clean, custom, spa-like finish without closing off the room.

A new double vanity, round mirrors, updated lighting, new flooring, fresh paint, and modern fixtures complete the makeover. Soft blue towels and accessories tie in beautifully with the shower floor and add just enough color to the otherwise light and neutral space.

From outdated to updated ✨

This room got a major refresh starting from the top down!

We removed the outdated popcorn ceiling and installed new drywall for a clean, smooth finish. New recessed lighting was added throughout, giving the space brighter, more even illumination and a much more modern feel.

With the fresh ceiling, updated lighting, new wall finishes, and the original stonework still providing plenty of character, the entire room feels lighter, cleaner, and completely transformed.

Sometimes getting rid of one dated feature makes all the difference. 🔨🏡

A little architectural detail can completely change a space. ✨

For this renovation, we installed a floor-to-ceiling wood slat divider to give the entryway some definition while keeping the living area feeling open and connected.

Rather than closing off the front door with a solid wall, the vertical wood slats create a subtle separation between the entry and living room while still allowing light and sightlines to pass through. The warm natural wood also works beautifully with the original hardwood floors and exposed brick, adding a fresh, modern element while complementing the home’s original character.

The result: a more defined entryway, added architectural interest, and a functional divider that makes a big impact without closing in the space. 🏡🔨

Another transformation underway in the heart of Fishtown! 🔨

This classic Philadelphia row home staircase needed some serious attention. What started with demolition and removal of the old staircase finishes turned into a complete rebuild and refresh—while keeping the character that makes these older Philly homes so special.

The project included rebuilding and reshaping the lower stairs, custom-fitting the winding steps, installing new hardwood treads and risers, and repairing and finishing the surrounding walls and trim.

The winding staircase was the real craftsmanship challenge here. Each tread had to be individually measured and fitted to work within the existing footprint of this traditional row home.

From demolition and exposed framing to a clean, beautifully finished hardwood staircase—quite a transformation! 👏

There’s nothing quite like giving an old Philadelphia row home a new chapter while preserving its original charm. 👉 Swipe to view the renovation from start to finish!

🏡 A Little Upgrade That Made a Big Difference!

Sometimes a renovation doesn’t have to completely change a space to make a huge improvement.

This project was all about replacing our old sliding glass door and worn-out steps with something fresh, sturdy, and functional.

Out came the old slider and steps, and in went a brand-new sliding glass door along with new custom-built pressure-treated steps, a larger landing, and railings. We also added new exterior lighting on each side of the door to finish everything off. 🔨✨

I love seeing the progression from demolition ➡️ framing ➡️ construction ➡️ finished project. Such a clean update, and the new wider steps make the entrance feel so much more substantial and welcoming.

Another home project checked off the list! ✔️🏡
