🚧 Every job comes with a few surprises… but this one had EIGHT LEGS! 😳🕷️

Mitch was working on running a waterline and needed to shut off the main water when we discovered this HUGE black widow guarding the shutoff like she was in charge of the whole operation. 😂

Kella grabbed a stick and got her out so we could get a better look and apparently, this girl has NEVER missed a meal! Look at the size of her! 👀

We’re used to unexpected challenges at Witte Restorations, but negotiating access to the water with an eight-legged security guard was a new one. Ma’am, unless you’re helping run this waterline, we’re going to need you to clear the work area! 🤣🔧

Just a little glimpse of what happens behind the scenes. The finished project gets the pictures, but the surprise visitors deserve a post of their own! 😂

What’s the craziest thing YOU’VE found while working on a house? 👇

🔨 WITTE RESTORATIONS IS HIRING! 🔨

We’re looking to add another reliable, hardworking person to the Witte Restorations crew!

We do a little bit of everything—roofing, siding, gutters, decks, flooring, interior/exterior work, storm restoration and general construction—so we’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to work, learn, and get their hands dirty.

What we expect:
🔨 Must have a valid ID
🚙 Must have reliable transportation to and from work
🛠️ Must have at least some general construction knowledge/experience
🧰 Having your own basic tools is a BIG plus, but not required
✅ Must be able to pass a drug test
⏰ Must be dependable and show up on time
💪 Must be able to perform physical construction work, including lifting, climbing ladders and working outdoors
🏠 Must be comfortable working on roofs/heights when the job requires it
📱 Must have reliable communication—we need to be able to reach you
🤝 Must be able to follow directions, work as part of a crew and treat customers and their property with respect
🚫 No drama. No disappearing. No constant excuses. We need someone we can count on.

Experience is important, but work ethic, dependability and willingness to learn matter too.

💰 Pay is based on experience!!

If you’re looking for steady construction work with a local company and think you’d be a good fit, send Witte Restorations a message with your name, experience and a good phone number to reach you.

If you know someone who would fit this position, please share this
