A refrigerator leak had warped the red oak in this Lakewood kitchen and hallway. Our crew cut out the damaged boards and laced in new solid red oak, then sanded the entire main level to bare wood: kitchen, living room, dining room, both halls, foyer and office. A clear, natural finish took the floor from orange to light, modern oak, and the repair disappeared.

Solid hardwood can be refinished many times over its life, so a damaged floor usually needs a repair and a fresh finish, not a new floor.
