This project was about more than clearing trees—it was about revealing the landscape. We removed a leaning cedar and a struggling juvenile oak, cleaned up deadwood throughout the backyard, and carefully pruned around a backyard sculpture to improve visibility and access while preserving the surrounding healthy trees. The result is a more open, inviting outdoor space where the views, artwork, and landscape can all be appreciated together.

This review from a Dripping Springs customer says a lot about the care Ben and our crew put into the whole job, from that first conversation to the cleanup. Proud of this team! 🌳

Thoughtful Pruning for Better Outdoor Living

This project was all about making the backyard more enjoyable without sacrificing the mature trees that make it special. We improved clearance around the roof, porch, pool, and fence, separated overlapping canopies to give each tree room to thrive, and carefully refined the live oaks for a cleaner, more open appearance. With a final cleanup of the front-yard tree, the entire landscape feels brighter, more balanced, and ready to be enjoyed year-round.

Thoughtful Pruning for a Healthier Cedar Elm

This cedar elm received a thoughtful canopy raise and light interior canopy cleanout to improve its structure, airflow, and overall appearance. By selectively pruning rather than over-trimming, we preserved the tree's natural form while creating a cleaner, more balanced canopy that will continue to thrive for years to come.

A Better View Starts From the Driveway 🌳

The first impression of this property just got even better. By opening up the front-yard oaks, clearing the guest house roofline, and removing deadwood and ball moss, we helped these mature trees become the centerpiece of the landscape instead of hiding it. The result is a property that feels brighter, more open, and beautifully maintained without sacrificing the natural character of the oaks.

A Cleaner Property Starts With Smart Land Management 🌿

Sometimes the biggest transformation comes from better organization. We relocated and consolidated approximately 60 brush piles from the center of the property to designated perimeter areas, opening up the landscape and creating a cleaner, more usable space. Using specialized equipment, our crew completed the work efficiently while minimizing ground disturbance and leaving the property organized, accessible, and ready for whatever comes next.

More Clearance, Same Beautiful Oaks 🌿

The best tree care often makes a property feel more comfortable without changing its character. We raised mature oak canopies to improve everyday access, established roof clearance around the home, and removed select hazardous deadwood in the backyard where it mattered most. The result is a landscape that's easier to mow, safer to enjoy, and still filled with the beautiful shade and natural character that make mature oaks so valuable.

Please join us in welcoming Michael, our new Director of Strategic Growth at Dynamo Dusty’s Tree Service!

Michael brings a background in marketing and sales, a love for the outdoors, and an enthusiasm for the work we do. We’re excited to have him help us reach more homeowners and strengthen our connections in the communities we serve.

Here’s what Michael had to share:

“I am beyond excited to be joining DynamoDusty's Tree Service as the new Director of Strategic Growth. My background is in marketing and sales, and I am ready to put that experience to work for a company I already admire. It is rare to find a team, a boss, and an industry that all feel this good to be part of, and I do not take that for granted. Beyond the business side, I have always loved being outdoors, and there is something deeply satisfying about working with trees. Trimming, clearing land, and helping with wildfire mitigation lets me do work that actually protects our community and keeps nature healthy. I am grateful for this opportunity and cannot wait to see what we accomplish together.”

Welcome to the DD team, Michael! We’re glad you’re here. 🌳

Protecting Every Corner of This Backyard Retreat

Some of the most important tree work isn't about what you remove—it's about what you protect. We carefully reduced weight on these mature red oaks, established clearance over the garage, roof, chimney, pool, and pond, and removed hazardous deadwood to help reduce future storm risk. Every cut was made with the goal of preserving the natural beauty of these oaks while helping them remain healthy, balanced, and a lasting part of the landscape for years to come.
