Cassia!
- A deciduous shrub
- Host plant for Cloudless Sulphur Butterflies
- Showy yellow flowers during the summer

- 20 feet tall and 8 feet wide fully grown

💛Hidden Ponds Fun Fact💛
The mama cat we adopted last year is named Cassia but Cass for short. The namesake ‘Cass’ came from an employee that worked at Hidden Ponds who unfortunately passed away in 2022. She was a huge animal lover so we feel sure she would appreciate the ode to her!🪽

It’s officially fall, also known as the perfect time to plant citrus and heres why:

-The roots will have plenty of time to establish before our hot summers
-Cooler air temperatures help prevent transplant shock
-By the time spring rolls around your tree will be ready to bloom and fruit because it had fall and winter to establish!
-If you wait until spring to plant your citrus, you run the risk of your blooms dropping off to aid in root development

We have plenty of different citrus and sizes to choose from and have also created a brief slideshow (located on our website under the ‘Resource Library’ page) of citrus we carry so you can see what suits your needs best!🍊🍋
