The "6 P's" in project management: "Proper Prior Planning Prevents Poor Performance"

This means a clean and well organized job site prepped and ready to go every day. A specific location where all key information is kept: Architectural Plans, product specifications, and QR codes providing all the necessary information. And a schedule mapped out by the day, week, 3 week, and overall project duration.

Kicking off a new design project in Leominster, MA. These fun clients are looking to add a 2 car garage with a primary suite and office above, renovate the existing kitchen, and open up the space.

Step 1 for any addition is a site review confirming buildable setbacks, height limits, frontage, and lot coverage based on the zoning. This diagram gives us the first thumbs up that the project is possible.

Next steps are documenting the existing conditions and hiring the civil engineer to get deeper on the site review and make sure there are no site specific conditions that might create issues.
