40 years of being best friends, 37 years of marriage, and a lifetime of memories built together. ✨

From meeting as teenagers back in 1986 to standing right here today, Kelly and Rodney have created something truly special. Married just two weeks after Kelly’s 18th birthday, they’ve never taken a single day for granted, knowing how incredibly rare it is to find your person so early in life.

Cheers to 37 years of love, partnership, and marrying your best friend! Happy Anniversary, Kelly & Rodney you two were made for one another! 🥂🤍

Designer, sports fan, avid reader, and master mug collector, meet our very own Alysa! ☕✨

Celebrating 4 years here with KAI, Alysa has a gift for connecting with clients and transforming how they live in their spaces.

When she’s off the clock, you’ll find her catching a hockey game, road-tripping to baseball stadiums, or sipping coffee out of her latest vintage mug. Born and raised right here in Bakersfield, she brings so much heart and talent to our team every day. 🤍

Say hi to Alysa in the comments below! 👇

We could look at this table all day 🍂 Warm greens, little pumpkins, dried leaves that still have some color left in them. Every piece here was chosen on purpose, down to the candlesticks. With October right around the corner, it felt like the perfect time to really lean into the season and set a table worth slowing down for, even if no one's sitting at it yet. If this one's still up when you stop by, it's because we're not quite ready to take it apart. Come by the storefront today, we'll be here until 4pm!

This corner of the shop might be our favorite right now 🌿 A faux olive tree, warm wood shelving styled with candlesticks, oils, and little treasures, and a cozy reading chair layered with our local pillows. It's the kind of vignette that makes you want to slow down and browse for a while. Every shelf here tells a little story. Half the fun of the storefront is discovering something new every time you walk in. Stop by and see what catches your eye this week!

Set the table for a special occasion 🍽️ We've been having so much fun pulling together little tablescape moments in the shop lately. This one mixes scalloped stoneware, hand-embroidered napkins in the richest mustard, and a floral bowl that just feels like fall. Every piece here is meant to be mixed and layered, not matched perfectly.

If you've been wanting to elevate your everyday table setting (or you're already thinking ahead to holiday hosting), come see this vignette in person. It photographs beautifully, but it's even better up close.
