MYTH: "Leaves in the pool are just cosmetic". A few leaves floating around won't hurt anything.

FACT: Leaves and other organic debris break down in the water, consuming chlorine and potentially contributing to algae and staining. They can also clog baskets and interfere with circulation.

MYTH: Cooler weather means your pool doesn’t need to run as much.

FACT: Your pool still needs circulation and filtration, even when you’re not swimming. Cooler temperatures can reduce evaporation and chlorine demand, but your pool equipment still needs enough run time to keep the water circulating and prevent problems.

🍁 Fall Tip: As temperatures change, your pool’s chemical needs change too. Keep testing your water and adjust as needed!

Myth: What has worked for my pool in the past should continue to work forever… right?

❌ WRONG!

As pool water gets older, dissolved solids and other contaminants can build up, making the chemistry harder to balance and the pool more difficult to manage.

What worked last year isn’t always the right solution this year. Sometimes your pool needs a different approach based on its current water chemistry and condition.
