Before/After: Jasper, GA. A customer called me and said the floor was falling through on the inside of their house. They explained that they had recently purchased the place and planned to turn it into a rental. Over the years, the air conditioner unit had been leaking, the toilets had been leaking, and a poor moisture barrier under the flooring had caused the subfloor to collapse and sag in places. We had to cut out the subfloor, replace floor joists, and cut out the center beam, replacing it with a new beam and leveling the entire floor so we could install new LVP flooring. It was a task, but we were able to get the subfloor back in and everything level, and we installed new LVP flooring and quarter-round. The customers were great, very appreciative, and loved how the job turned out, and so did I.
