Thanks to everyone who joined us at the Nursery this weekend for Fall Fest! Many a pumpkin was painted, and much c***r and donut holes were partaken of!

HUGE shoutout to all of the volunteers who helped us in so many ways throughout the 2026 season! Our last “official” volunteer shift of the season was today…the Nursery couldn’t do what we do without the help of these amazing folks!

Join us this Saturday for the 10th Annual Fall Fest at Herring Run Nursery! Celebrate autumn with a day full of festive fun! There will be native plant sales, plant giveaways, free pumpkin painting, apple c***r and donuts and more!

Happy Fall!
We are excitedly welcoming fall with lots of new inventory added to our aisles. Early to midautumn is a great time to add cool season perennials, shrubs and trees to your garden. Come to the nursery and check out what we have in stock or take a look on our website for the latest!

Our extended fall hours are Thurs-Sat 9am-4pm, Sun 9am-1pm

Congrats to long-time Herring Run Nursery customer, Emily Green! Her garden won the Homegrown National Park category in the Green Towson Alliance's native garden contest. Her garden meets/exceeds the threshold of 70% native plants or more, and features many natives from us. Kudos to Emily and her efforts in re-greening with natives!
