We’ve walked through some rough houses over the years. But nothing prepared us for this one.

And somehow, the video doesn’t even begin to capture what it was like inside.

This is our newest project in Beacon Hill with agent partner Sean Winkler, and it may be the most extreme property JCC Concierge has ever taken on.

The deeper we went into the house, the stranger it got.

Thousands of old VHS tapes stacked throughout the bedrooms.

An old-school television sitting in the darkness that looked like something straight out of a horror movie. You half expected something to crawl out of the screen.

And one of the strangest sensations was the ceiling. It felt unusually low as we walked through the house until you realized why:

We weren’t really walking on the floor.

In areas, we were walking on feet of garbage and animal f***s that had accumulated and compacted over the years, effectively raising the floor beneath us.

But the most difficult discovery came once the cleanout began. We’ve decided against sharing the disturbing details.

There are some things a video simply can’t communicate. The smell. The conditions. The sheer amount of material inside. And the experience of uncovering what had been hidden beneath and behind everything.

It’s also a reminder that behind an extremely distressed property, there is often a much bigger human story.

Now comes the part we do best.

We’re clearing it out, addressing the conditions, repairing what can be saved, renovating what needs to be rebuilt, and working alongside Sean to give this Beacon Hill home an entirely new beginning.

There is a LONG way to go before the Big Reveal.

🎃 Just in time for Halloween… we made this Bothell home a little less haunted.

The “before” photos definitely came with some spooky season energy. 👻 But underneath the clutter, bold lighting, overgrown landscaping, and years of personality was a home with a ton of potential.

Our job was to uncover it.

We cleared things out, made strategic updates, refreshed the kitchen and bathrooms, opened up the feel of the living spaces, tackled the landscaping, and finished it all with professional staging.
