You asked, and they're here.
Last spring we collected a small group of larch from the bogs of Northern Vermont. They've spent the season recovering at our Massachusetts nursery, and they've responded beautifully.
We'd normally hold collected trees for another year. But so many of you have asked to start these from the beginning that we're releasing 10 trees now.
Each one has its own trunk movement and character. We left the dead branches on purpose, so you can turn them into jin (preserved deadwood) or remove them. Your call!
🌲 6 to 19 inches tall, in nursery pots
💲 $50 to $165, plus $18 shipping
📸 Every tree photographed. You pick your exact tree.
A few things to know: these are freshly collected, so no repotting or fertilizing until spring 2027. Larches need real winters, so we're shipping to northern states only.
Once these are gone, we don't expect another collection until fall 2027.
