Tickets now available! Oregon residents will be increasingly threatened by wildfires, heat, drought, and other natural disasters. The ongoing cuts to FEMA will also reduce the ability of federal agencies to assist communities in these times of crisis, making it all the more important for communities to take the initiative to make preparations and strategic investments.

Join us to hear from Steve Abbott, RMI on establishing resilience hubs - community facilities to support residents and deploy resources during times of natural disaster. Tickets available from https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/6715014

RECORDING NOW ON YOUTUBE!

What if Bend’s aging strip malls and big box stores became vibrant, walkable “mini-downtowns”? Last Thursday, Ellen Dunham-Jones (author of Retroffting Suburbia and Director of Georgia Tech's Urban Design Program) shared inspiring ideas and real-world examples of communities transforming car-centric sprawl into livable neighborhoods friendly to all ages and modes of transportation.

Thank you to all who joined us in the Deschutes Mountain Room and to our sponsors for making this event happen!
