I know we already posted the final reveal of this project, but looking back through our photos, we honestly still can't get over how incredibly well this space flows. We took an underutilized corner of the main living area right off the entryway and carved out a brand-new half bath that looks like it was drawn into the home's original blueprints.
Here is a look at how we made this brand-new room feel entirely natural:
✅ Seamless Structural Framing: We built out the new bathroom footprint to tuck neatly next to the existing staircase, keeping the lines completely flush so that it doesn't interrupt the home’s natural foot traffic.
✅ Architecture-Matching Trim: To keep the historic character intact, we wrapped the exterior in wide white trim that matches the entryway, while finishing the interior window casing in a rich, dark stain that honors the home's original craftsmanship.
✅ High-End Finish Details: We maximized the compact space with a clean white pedestal sink, an elegant black arched mirror, and a modern glass-globe light fixture that makes the room feel bright and open.
The best part? These homeowners didn't pay a single cent of retail markup to get this level of finish. Because of our $0 Material Markup policy, they paid the exact wholesale supplier prices for the sink, lighting, flooring, and lumber. We only billed for our expert labor.

Here is how we brought this high-end design to life:
✅ From the Floor Up: We ripped out the old, failing subfloor and brought in solid framing to ensure everything was dead-level and built to last a lifetime.
✅ Polished Tile Flooring: We laid down a stunning marble-look porcelain tile floor, ensuring perfectly clean lines and a rock-solid, waterproof base.
✅ Premium Finishes: We installed a striking white and black vanity, high-end gold fixtures, and a clean glass tub enclosure that completely elevates the room's energy.
The best part of this project? The homeowners saved thousands because we practice a strict $0 Material Markup policy. They paid the exact wholesale price we paid for the vanity, tile, and fixtures, while we only billed for our expert labor.

We are moving fast on this bedroom and bathroom addition! The structural shell is officially sealed up, meaning we’ve shifted our focus from fighting the elements to locking in the interior comfort.
Getting an addition to this phase requires absolute precision so the new space seamlessly integrates with the original home. Here is exactly what the crew just wrapped up:
✅ ZIP System Sheathing: We wrapped the exterior walls in high-performance ZIP System panels and meticulously taped every seam. This creates a continuous, state-of-the-art moisture barrier and air seal to keep out the lakeside humidity and wind.
✅ Finished Roof: The roof is officially completed and tied in seamlessly. The new space is fully protected from overhead weather, allowing us to safely move forward with the interior details.
✅ Wall Insulation: With the structure dried-in, we packed high-efficiency insulation tightly into the framed stud bays, ensuring this new master suite stays quiet and climate-controlled year-round.
From the weather-resistant ZIP panels and flashing tape to the insulation and roofing shingles, these homeowners didn't pay a single penny of inflation on their supplies. Everything was sourced directly through our $0 Material Markup process—they paid exactly what we paid at the lumber yard, and we only billed for our expert labor.
Next up: drywall and interior finishes! Stay tuned to watch this space fully come together.

Outdoor transformation complete! 🏡 We are thrilled to reveal this massive deck reconstruction project serving clients in Erie County. This space was completely reimagined with a focus on longevity, functionality, and high-end finishes.
This wasn't just a simple facelift; we stripped it down and did it the Ried way, focusing heavily on the structural "guts" before the aesthetics. Here’s how we transformed this backyard oasis:
✅ structural reframe: We didn't just reuse an old frame; we completely re-engineered and built a new, heavily reinforced sub-structure, adding significant bracing and support to ensure this large deck remains solid, level, and safe for decades.
✅ low-maintenance composite: We replaced the old, splintering wood decking with beautiful, durable composite decking in a textured gray finish. We paired it with crisp white vinyl railings and black aluminum spindles for clean lines and a modern, high-contrast look.
✅ accessible inclined ramp: We added a custom, integrated inclined ramp, providing seamless and easy access from the yard directly up to the main deck level, integrated beautifully with a stunning white arbor structure.
✅ finished skirting: To create a cohesive, polished appearance, we wrapped the entire foundation with clean, vertical gray skirting, hiding all mechanics underneath, and seamlessly integrated new landscaping beds for a finished look.
We operate with radical transparency. These homeowners utilized our $0 material markup process—they paid exactly what we paid for the composite decking, the structural lumber, the fasteners, and the railing—not a penny more. We only bill for our expert labor.
