I'm super grateful for the skills and knowledge to be able to climb dangerous and hazardous trees and remove them in a safe and efficient manner.
I'm also proud to announce that I have recently purchased myself a bucket truck to help assist 😀 with some of the workload.
It's definitely a learning curve but I'm sure it won't take too long to get the hang of it.

We've got us a tricky rotten ash tree to take care of today to help the homeowner get his house and property back to a safe situation.
We tackle jobs that other people won't even think about doing or they can't access with a bucket truck.
Don't get me wrong, a crane would be wonderful to have right now but that's not really in the budget today.
Thankful to have some skilled and competent workers assist in getting this tree to the ground once and for all.

I need everyone's help...we need everyone's help...my church needs everyone's help.

I was just recently informed that my current church located in Harrison County KY is running very low on funds and needs a miracle in order to remain open.

I own and operate A-Rated Tree Company and would like to use my skills and talents to make a donation towards keeping the doors open. In a time such as these, we need all the help we can get.

My proposal is to offer my services of tree removal or pruning for absolutely FREE for someone who is willing and able to make a donation to our church. I will not be suggesting a limit or a recommendation for the donation but I am willing to perfrom the work for you in exchange for your kindness.

Another one of those scorcher days! Today's job was removing a fallen blue spruce from a house that landed on the roof and crashed the back porch.
So thankful that we have a team that climbs and can access the tree without a bucket truck or lift...not that I have a problem with those tools, but they're not sufficient for each and every job.
Tree is successfully on the ground now and the customer has enough land to perform a safe controlled burn.

Well, the new Eastonmade Apex log splitter finally arrived last week.
I ran it for a few hours when it first arrived so I cioukd get a good feel for it and I have to say it is amazing.

I was a little skeptical at first because I was going from a 27 ton Champion log splitter down to a 24 ton but it's incredible the difference because of the engineering. The Apex has a large piston and somehow has twice the power.

I upgraded this unit to a 6 way wedge to improve efficiency and it's certainly worth the extra $$$. I also installed an aftermarket hour meter so I'll be able to track how many hours I spend splitting wood.

Attention loyal firewood customers:

I have been offering some of the best quality hardwood firewood for several years now at a price of only $125 per rick. I have also been very cautious and deliberate about not increasing my pricing, however after careful consideration of the continued cost of living I feel like I have no other alternative than to do the same.
It breaks my heart to do this because I know people depend on this wood to stay warm through the year.
I would say that over 90% of my customers use this wood more for ambiance and company entertainment than they do for actual heating purposes.

My current pricing structure will be as follows:

Off season $150 per rick
March-Sept.

Winter Season $175 per rick
Oct.-Feb.

Kindling bundles offered at $10 per bag.

I also have boiler wood available for those that don't mind using pieces that are not uniform in shape and size. Some of these pieces may be unseasoned, short, large, unsplit, or full of knots.

Boiler wood is only $50 per pickup truck but keep in mind you'll need to do a little work before you can burn it.

Edit: all pricing is for pickup only. Delivery is NOT offered at this time.
