Our posts have slowed down a bit, but weā€™re still working away!
Between the daily route and projects coming in, weā€™re busy 10-12hrs a day, 7 days a week.
-
Itā€™s a good problem to have!
But man are we tiredšŸ„±
Thank you guys so much for your referrals and support!

We treat each one as if it were our own.

Just a courtesy message to all our current and past clients of Black Dog Landscaping;

We plan on starting our mowing route back up this April!
Spring services available include: Spring lawn clean ups, Gutters, Aerating, Dethatching of lawns, Spring feed and seed, as well as regular mowing.

If any of these outside of our regular cut and trim interest you, please don't hesitate to reach out!
(And if you're a new winter client interested in having someone take care of your lawn this year, feel free to ask about weekly/biweekly maintenance cost.)

Otherwise thank you! And we'll see our customers next month!

Black Dog is excited to announce their new location!
Itā€™s crazy to think 8 years ago it started out of a garage with just minimal equipment and almost no understanding of how to operate a business.
-
Now weā€™re growing like crazy and expanding to match the pace!
Thanks so much to everyone whoā€™s supported us along this journey, we truly appreciate all of youšŸ’š

Just wanted to say thank you to all our awesome customers for being understanding, and working with us as we figured out this rainstorm messšŸ™‚

Looks like everything is back on track and moving smoothly.
You canā€™t please everyone, but we sure as heck try!

This weeks overgrown yard!
-
This was just around a half acre when including the front yard.
Full of mixes of Blue grass, Fescues, Fescue blends and much more!
-
Super pleased with the final results though,
What do you guys think? Let us know below!šŸ‘‡šŸ¼

Extremely sorry for the delays with sod.
This rain and busy season have been working against us.

Thereā€™s only so much grass to be cut and way too many companies trying to get it right now.
But weā€™re locked in and can start expecting orders next week!

We appreciate everyone being so patient with us, this is definitely not a normal year for projects.

Hereā€™s this weeks overgrown yard!

If youā€™ve been keeping up youā€™re aware of the confrontational neighbor I had to deal with at this property.
Odd situation, but we made the best of it and moved on!
-
Thanks so much for all of your support!

Kudos to Raisin Contracting
Today around 2pm on Grand an elderly gentleman was crossing the street and fell down.
It was clear he couldnā€™t get back up on his own.

But a Raisin employee swooped in like a caped crusader to help him out!
Having employees like that says a lot about a brand and companyšŸ‘ŒšŸ¼
You guys are awesome.

Free mow Fridays is herešŸŒ±
-
Today we helped out our local veteran, John Ogelsby and got his lawn back down to a manageable state.
-
Johnā€™s been a supportive and positive impact on our local community for 20+ years.
With 4 years service in the U.S Army and 16 with the National Guard, John retired in June of 2015.
But not before being one of the oldest soldiers on his last deployment.
The level of commitment is astounding.
-
Always an honor to help those who have fought for our country!
Hereā€™s to you siršŸ«”
Thank you for your many years of service.
-
Know someone in your neighborhood who could use a hand?
Let us know!
(**This is primarily a mow and w**d eat only service meant to get thick, unmanageable grass troublesome for most residential mowers, back down to standard height.)

Quick little post on planning for gutter/waterline drainage.
-
Too little, or too much slope can cause all sorts of build up problems down the line.
-
Try to plan for a 1/4ā€-1/2ā€ slope over each foot to ensure far less debris is left behind.
This also helps ensure that both liquids and solids drain effectively.
