This one means a lot to us! 🧱

We're proud to share that Alabama Brick has been named a Best of BH&G Readers' Choice Winner!

For more than 50 years, we've had the privilege of working alongside homeowners, builders, and designers throughout our community. And recognition like this means even more because it comes from the people we serve.

To everyone who has trusted us with a project, recommended us to a friend, or supported our family-owned business over the years… THANK YOU!

Ever wonder how raw clay becomes the brick used to build homes, schools, and businesses? 🧱

There's a lot more to the process than you might think!

Our friends at Triangle Brick are taking us behind the scenes to show how quality brick is made, from raw materials to the finished product.

We're proud to partner with manufacturers who share our commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

We’re honored to be part of the 2026 Birmingham Home & Garden Inspiration Home in Vestavia Hills.

This beautiful project features General Shale Frasier Canyon brick, Freedom Ivory Mortar, 3 indoor and 1 outdoor FireRock fireplace, and a Superior Clay Mathis Charcoal glazed chimney cap.

We’re also grateful to be alongside such a talented team — Joe Fante and Sarah DeMasters-Richburg of j.fante studio, and Chuck Frusterio of Frusterio Design.

Come see it all in person and support Big Oak Ranch in the process. Tix available here: https://bit.ly/4yps5Ej

With severe weather on the horizon, protecting our homes and the people inside them is on everyone's mind.

When it comes to standing up to the elements, what your home is made of matters. 🧱

In this fascinating test at Clemson University, researchers put four common exterior wall systems to the test against high-speed flying debris, simulated hail, and more.

The results speak for themselves.

Brick demonstrated incredible strength and resistance to impact, proving once again why it's been a trusted building material for generations.

No home is completely storm-proof, but building with durable materials can make a real difference.

As Alabama prepares for the storms ahead, stay weather-aware, have a safety plan, and take care of one another.

Built to last. Built with brick.

We had a great time at this year’s Greater Birmingham Association of Home Builders Young Professional's Fall Festival!

The Three Little Pigs made an appearance, and we’ll just say... they know a thing or two about building smart with brick. 🧱🐷

Alabama Brick was proud to sponsor a fun evening supporting the people who are helping build Birmingham’s future.

100 years of character, ready for a new home. 🧱

We’re excited to introduce Reclaimed Thin Brick to the Alabama Brick lineup.

These aren’t bricks made to look old. They’re actually reclaimed from industrial buildings dating back to the 1860s through the 1920s...

That means every piece brings its own texture, weathering and character, making it a great choice for accent walls, backsplashes, floors and more.

Available in four distinct styles: Used Chicago, Used St. Louis, Used Carolina and Used Riverside.

Stop by Alabama Brick and take a closer look.

We’re proud to support the Home Builders Association of Greater Calhoun County and the builders, contractors and professionals who continue to shape our communities.

Thank you for the recognition and for allowing Alabama Brick to be part of the important work you’re doing across the area. We’re grateful for the partnership! 🤝

They don't make things like they used to...Actually, we do. 🧱 🧱

From the schools we grew up in to the homes we love, brick has been part of our lives for generations. Beautiful, versatile, and built to last, it’s a material that stands the test of time.

Brick stands for good.
