There’s something about fall that makes home feel even more special. Cooler days, changing views, and a season that reminds us how good it feels to settle in and enjoy the spaces around us.

Still thinking about the fall views at our Sugarhouse Addition project.

There is something special about watching a home take shape against all that autumn color, and we’re already looking forward to more beautiful project views this season.

We just got the keys to our next project, and this is always one of the most exciting parts. Before the demo, before the finishes, before anyone else can see it, we’re already imagining the possibilities and mapping out what this home could become.

This is where the fun begins!

Normalize sharing the process, not just the finished result. The progress, the pivots, the problem-solving, and the messy middle are all part of what makes a project worth seeing. Every stage tells the story of how a home comes together.

Golden hour has a way of making everything feel a little softer. Warm light, quiet moments, and a home that feels just right at the end of the day, and this backyard is the perfect place to experience it all.

One house can hold a hundred little decisions, and getting them all to work together takes experience, patience, and a clear eye for the bigger picture. From layout and lighting to materials, finishes, and flow, every choice has to support the next. That is how a home starts to feel cohesive instead of pieced together.

The best renovations aren't just about how a space looks, they're about how it gets lived in.

Backyard conversations, evenings around the fire, and more reasons to spend time together. That's what makes a space worth creating.
