For the solo gardeners out there that are wondering how it goes gardening after knee replacement, I thought I’d post some things I’ve experienced. Today is almost two months after my surgery and is my first day doing any gardening. Right now that means taming the jungle. I mowed and w**d eated one section of the garden, made my way to the pawpaw tree and picked some ripe but tiny fruit, started to reclaim my path from the w**ds, picked some peppers and pulled a few w**ds (about two hours in all). It was slow going, and I am sure the knee will make me pay, tonight, but right now it feels ok.
