I just had a conversation with someone about gift certificates, and how many people forget about them and then later discover they're expired :-(

Challenge for October:

1) Find your forgotten gift certificates / gift cards

2) Determine a plan to use them, which could include putting an event, outing, or shopping plan in your calendar

3) Put that card or code where you'll need it when you use it!

4) Not going to use it but still has life left on it? Find someone to share it with!

Hey friends! It's about time I added a Substack to all the other things I'm doing, right? I feel like this was a missing piece to add to my organizing and my coaching services and my Surfing the Quicksand Podcast - a place for me to reflect with more writing and more question asking about what midlife women are facing today. (And, a lot will be for the men, too).

It's a place for me to talk about things that just aren't hour-long-podcast worthy, and a place to interact more with a community of great folks who are in for a quick read more than an hour watch or listen.

Literally my project this past weekend. The “we don’t have a device like this anymore” pile became “keep 1 of each for guests”. But why oh why do we have soooo many micro-usb cords? Cut that supply by 75%, probably still keeping too much!

Just reloaded my first booth! Mom and went in on a closet clean out of some great spring clothes - sizes L/XL-2X! (PS - 25% on Thursday and Friday before my week ends Friday at 7pm!
