At Saratoga County Airport, the graphics are part of the architecture, not just an added layer.

Our team developed a series of large-scale supergraphics that draw inspiration from two defining elements of the region: Saratoga Springs’ horse racing heritage and the nearby Adirondack Mountains. Layered silhouettes of racing horses animate the upper level, while an abstracted mountain landscape brings color, depth, and a strong sense of place to the main gathering space.

Together, the graphics add another dimension to the terminal, helping create an environment that feels distinctly connected to Saratoga and the surrounding region.

Framing the airfield as part of the architecture.

At Binghamton Airport, floor-to-ceiling glazing makes aircraft movement, changing skies, and the surrounding landscape part of the passenger experience. Overhead, the wood ceiling adds warmth and rhythm, balancing the openness of the terminal with a more intimate sense of place.

We’re proud to share that Fennick McCredie Architecture has been ranked #13 on Building Design + Construction’s list of the Top 75 Airport Facility Architecture Firms for 2026. The annual ranking is part of BD+C’s 2026 Giants 400 Report, recognizing leading firms working in the airport terminal and facilities sector nationwide.

Our aviation work continues to be an important part of what we do at FM—from reimagining existing terminals to creating more intuitive, welcoming experiences for passengers and the communities these airports serve.

With the completion of the bathhouse this summer, the transformation of Clougherty Pool is now complete.

The renovation extends well beyond the pools themselves, creating a more accessible and welcoming facility designed to support the many ways the Boston community uses this neighborhood resource.

Inside, bold color and oversized graphics help make circulation and wayfinding clear and intuitive. New locker facilities, an elevator, community space, and other accessibility improvements expand who the building can serve and how it can be used. Above, a new roof terrace provides another place to gather, relax, and take in the surrounding park.

Together with the pools completed in the first phase, the renewed bathhouse brings new life and functionality to a community fixture that has served Charlestown since 1949.

A big thank you to our project partners Weston & Sampson, J&J Contractors, LA Fuess, IMEG, and Nitsch Engineering for helping bring this project to life.

As summer winds down, we’re taking one more look at a season well spent at Clougherty Pool in Charlestown.

The renovated pools reopened last summer, and the newly updated bathhouse renovation was completed this summer. With the entire facility now operational, the Charlestown community has been making the most of all that this cherished neighborhood resource has to offer. Children playing in the family pool, recreational swimmers doing laps, and neighbors relaxing in the sun - there are now plenty of ways for everyone to beat the heat.

The renovation introduced a six-lane lap pool, a zero-entry family pool with interactive water features, expanded seating and shade, and accessible entries throughout, all shaped through an extensive community engagement process.

Originally opened in 1949, Clougherty Pool has long been a neighborhood fixture. It was a delight to work with the City of Boston and the Charlestown community to build on that legacy to create a more inclusive, versatile place for recreation and connection.

A little hands-on material exploration in the studio.

We recently welcomed the Sherwin-Williams team to FM for an interactive workshop focused on paints, stains, finishes, and their applications. More than 40 of our colleagues joined in to test materials firsthand, ask questions, learn from product experts, and have some fun in the process.
