🌿🪨 From Work in Progress to Job Complete!

Remember the project we shared last week with our guys working on the stone walkways? Well, we're excited to show you the finished results! 💚

We've shared a few pictures along the way, but this time we're taking you through the entire project, from start to finish!

Our crew put in a lot of hard work to bring this outdoor space together, including:

🪨 Stonework: Removing the existing pavers, leveling the ground, and carefully resetting them.

🚜 Grading & Dirt Work: Preparing and leveling the yard for its new look.

🌱 Sod Installation: Laying fresh sod to bring the lawn together.

🌿 New Plantings: Adding boxwoods, ferns, and Hosta's to complement the landscape.

🍂 Pine Straw Installation: Adding fresh pine straw to the landscape beds for a clean, finished appearance.

💡 Landscape Lighting: Installing lighting to enhance the outdoor space after dark.

From the groundwork to the finishing touches, every part of this project took time, effort, and attention to detail.

🌡️ Here's something interesting: You can actually see frost on your lawn even when the reported air temperature is slightly above 32°F! That's because the surface of the grass or leaves can be colder than the surrounding air.

As the temperatures begin to drop, most of us start thinking about getting our lawns and landscapes ready for winter. But there's one important part of your property that can easily be overlooked — your irrigation system!

Just because your sprinklers aren't running as often doesn't mean they're ready for freezing weather.

Water remaining inside irrigation pipes, valves, and sprinkler heads can freeze and expand when temperatures drop low enough. That expansion can potentially cause cracks, leaks, or damage that may not become noticeable until the system is turned back on in the spring.

Remember the stonework we shared earlier? Here's a closer look at what our crew has been working on!

Our guys removed the existing stones, carefully re-set and leveled them to bring the walkways back together. And the work doesn't stop there!

🚜 They're also working on bringing the surrounding yard up to the proper grade in preparation for new sod.

Projects like this involve a lot more than what you see on the surface. From getting the stonework just right to preparing the ground for what's coming next, every step makes a difference!
