I know I have said this a few times, but never give up on a rose just because it looks pitiful when you take it out of the package. Here are the steps I take to make them look beautiful.
1. Remove all of the outer petals that are wilted
2. Remove all of the leavesā€¦.they drink the water first.
3. Recut the flower at an angle.
4. Turn the rose upside down and gently spin it to make it open up.

Thatā€™s it!

I once heard that every flower started as a w**d until it had a name & I see something similar to this ā€œw**dā€ at Trader Joeā€™s all the time.

When theyā€™re free and beautiful, Iā€™m absolutely taking advantage. šŸŒæ
