Final High Point Market Trend: CONNECTION.
In a world increasingly dominated by screens and digital experiences, there’s a growing longing for something real. Something tangible. Something that connects us to each other and the world around us.
We’re seeing it in the resurgence of breadmaking, needlepointing, and canning. And we saw it everywhere at Market.
Warm tones and traditional lines replacing cool grays and stark modernism. Wicker, rattan, fresh florals, hand knotted rugs, and nature-inspired fabrics. Oversized chairs made for curling up together vs stunning but less enjoyable chairs of past. Intimate four-chair arrangements and wrap around dining banquettes that invite us to linger long after dinner.
Even the experience of Market felt different. Packed seminars filled with thoughtful conversation. Unhurried moments with our reps, talking about design, life, and what really matters. Bluegrass music, firepits, and people simply enjoying being together.
Looking back, all the trends being shared from Highpoint seem to point to the same thing.
We’re longing for connection. To nature. To one another. To something real and lasting.
And perhaps that’s the most meaningful design trend of all.  Because at the end of the day, the most beautiful spaces aren’t just the ones we admire. They’re the ones that bring us together.
