Bring on the weekend!

There is something about France that figuratively ✨enchants ✨ me. Being a city girl I thought Paris was the only place that would have that magic but I was wrong. We spent time in Aix en Provence with side trips to Lourmarin, Isle Sur La Sorgue, Gordes and then moved to Nice with side trips to Monaco and Villefranche Sur Mer. We ate and walked and shopped and basked in the spring sun. So much to do here and we didn’t scratch the surface but a good reason to return!

Learned to make croissant at in Aix. Highly recommed! My lamination needs improvement. My butter consumption does not. 🥐

This year’s Christmas mail featured one of life’s small luxuries: good flaky salt.

A friend introduced me to Maldon a few years ago and I’ve never been able to go back to the table stuff.

USPS delivery rate on these tins was hit or miss but the ones that made it arrived in a hand painted, purse friendly mini tin filled with the good stuff. Perfect for emergency finishing needs.

Merry Christmas! May the finer things in life find us all in 2026. 🎄

So lucky to have Santa make a stop around the corner thanks to and Windsor Terrace is a magical place today.
