Y'all, I think we've officially crossed the line from home baking into what in the actual bakery is happening in my kitchen?! 🤣

I just made 10 freaking pounds of brown butter for 🐦‍⬛The Rustic Crow!!

If you've never smelled butter slowly cooking until it turns golden brown, nutty, and absolutely heavenly... YOU ARE MISSING OUT!

And why would one woman need this much brown butter, you ask?!

Because we're taking our gourmet cookies, streusels, and other goodies to a whole new level of deliciousness!! 🤎🍪

Around here, we don't do boring butter. We give it a personality, a little attitude, and a whole lot of flavor! 💁‍♀️

I just received my FIRST WHOLESALE ORDER FROM JOE'MAMAS COFFEE IN BEND!!!

Heather ordered our Pumpkin Streusels, Apple Streusels, and Sourdough Pumpkin Oatmeal Cream Pies!!! 🥧🍎🎃

When I started The Rustic Crow, I had a dream of turning my love for baking into something that could actually support me. They always say if you do something you love, you'll never work a day in your life. It's true! I've spent countless hours in my kitchen testing recipes, perfecting flavors, packaging goodies, and putting my whole heart into this little business.

And now?!?!

THE RUSTIC CROW IS GROWING BEYOND BURNS!!! 😭❤️

First The Barn, then The Pine Room, and now Joe'Mamas Coffee in Bend!!

Every new wholesale partnership is another milestone, another opportunity, and another step toward building the business I've been dreaming of. Watching The Rustic Crow grow from an idea in my kitchen into a business that other local businesses want to carry is an absolutely incredible feeling!

I'm proud of how far this little bakery has come, and I am SO excited to see where it goes next!!! 🥹❤️

I am incredibly grateful to Heather for giving The Rustic Crow a chance, and to every single person who has purchased, shared, recommended, or cheered me on along the way.

RIP to the fallen loaf. 🍞🪦

It was supposed to be a simple little rotation of my sourdough bread in the oven...

But apparently one loaf decided it was DONE with this life and launched itself right out of the pan and onto the oven door. 😭🤣🤣

And now here we are... mourning the tragic loss of a perfectly good loaf of bread.

Hours of love, patience, and fermentation... only to go out in a blaze of glory. 💀😂
