“I knew you would help me.”

That’s what a longtime customer told Nancy Wolf when he recently called Spahn & Rose in Dyersville looking for a window part—and was delighted to discover Nancy was still there.

Nancy originally joined Spahn & Rose temporarily to help with inventory. Thirty-one years later, the inside sales representative has built lasting friendships with customers and co-workers while watching Spahn & Rose grow far beyond the Tri-State Area.

“He was so happy to hear that I was still here,” Nancy says. “That makes you feel good!”

🔨 A great-looking deck starts with materials that perform on the job.

Spahn & Rose Pearl City general manager Richie Snyder says Deckorators Voyage stands out for its lighter weight, dimensional stability and long-term performance. The Deckorators project pictured here is at a home in Lanark, Illinois, with materials supplied by the Spahn & Rose Pearl City location.

Richie also knows the product from personal experience.

“Deckorators has been installed for five years now on my home, and it still is like the day I first installed it,” Richie says.

Tanner Bronkema, General Manager of Spahn & Rose in Stockton, Illinois, says contractors have become increasingly comfortable working with LP products during the decade his location has sold them.

“Once they start using it, they love it,” Tanner says.

Tanner has firsthand experience, too. He used LP SmartSide trim around the windows and garage door of his own home.

Today’s garage might be a place to park, a workshop, a home gym or the neighborhood hangout—and the right garage door needs to work with all of it.

The homes pictured here are two projects for which the Spahn & Rose Reinbeck location supplied Christie garage doors.

Spahn & Rose Reinbeck General Manager Dan Mohlis says customers are looking at everything from insulation and natural light to woodgrain finishes and curb appeal when choosing Christie Door products.

“We tend to sell Christie’s Haas brand as it offers a wide offering of styles and colors, including a wide selection of bi-directional woodgrain colors for the authentic wood look,” Dan says.

And his recommendation comes with firsthand experience: Dan has a Christie’s Haas garage door at his own home, installed by Christie Door. His review? “Excellent service. They stand behind their products and workmanship.”

See what Dan recommends homeowners should know and contractors consider when helping customers choose the right garage door:
