Joshua with our Helianthus angustifolia Swamp Sunflower. Great native perennial for fall pollinator support. It’s a “must have” but it also “must have “ enough space. It will spread as you’ve probably seen it do along roadsides. Very hardy native.

A little more fall planting this afternoon. I planted Itea virginica Sweetspire Henry’s Garnet and Pinckneya bracteata Fever tree from liners and planted Stokesia laevis Stokes Aster from division. Fever tree is really cool and a species listed as vulnerable in the state of Georgia and threatened in Florida.
