🚨 NO HEAT + WATER ON THE FLOOR!

This Camp Hill homeowner called Metro HVAC after their boiler started building excessive pressure.

Our diagnosis uncovered TWO problems:

🔧 A failed expansion tank

🔧 A deteriorating Taco circulator pump

We’re returning to properly reposition and replace the expansion tank, add a dedicated isolation valve for easier future servicing, and install a new Taco 007 circulator.

Undersized mini split? You'll feel it. Rooms that never get comfortable, a system that runs nonstop, and higher bills.

This Camp Hill homeowner had a mini split that wasn't sized right for the space. We recovered the refrigerant, pulled the old unit, and installed a properly sized Daikin Aurora cold climate heat pump that runs on R-32 and keeps heating when Pennsylvania temps drop.

Still heating with oil around Harrisburg? You have more options than you think. 🔥➡️❄️

A lot of homes in Harrisburg, Colonial Park and the surrounding townships still burn oil. Usually that's because gas never came down the street, not because oil was the better choice. If your oil furnace is getting up there in age, here are your three paths:

1️⃣ Full conversion. The oil furnace comes out and a heat pump goes in on your existing ducts, with electric backup for the coldest nights.
2️⃣ Dual fuel. Keep a good oil furnace as backup. The heat pump does most of the winter work, and oil only kicks on during the real cold snaps.
3️⃣ Ductless. For homes with an oil boiler and baseboard or radiators, mini-splits are usually the cleaner way to go.

Before anyone quotes you, they should check your home's heat loss, your ductwork, your electrical panel and your oil tank. If they don't, keep looking.
