We began the summer with what you sleep in and what you live on. We close with what you gather around.
Jan Barboglio was raised on a working cattle ranch in Durango, where the forge was part of ordinary life. She has been making from that memory ever since — hand-forged iron, mouth-blown glass, reclaimed wood. No two alike. The variations are the point.
The house is here with us this weekend. Come see what she sent.

And it continues in what you sit in. The chair that holds the afternoon should be as honestly made as anything in the house. Lee has built, upholstery by hand in North Carolina since 1969 — soy based cushions, water-based finishes, no added flame retardance. A healthy home, bench made. Their specialist is with us for a few days only. Call to set up an appointment or simply come by.

La Dolce Vita — the sweetness of the well – made. A good life has little to do with excess, and everything to do with honest things, lived with slowly. It begins with what you sleep in. Sferra has woven bed linen since 1891, still in the family Mills at the foot of the Italian Alps — the first house to weave from Giza 45, rarest of the Egyptian cottons. For a few days, they are with us. Call or text us, and we’ll see the rest reaches you.
