The Onion has spoken, and we will not be taking questions.

Corn has officially been named the world’s sexiest plant, and our Market team saw this coming back in July. Unfortunately, corn has chosen to retire at the height of its fame and is done for the season.

The rest of the line-up is still easy on the eyes. Come see who’s left at The Market before we close on October 31.

Next spring’s garden gets planted this month.

Our new blog covers the fall bulbs that return year after year and that deer and rabbits leave alone, from daffodils and squill to wild tulip varieties. It also explains why hardneck garlic planted now beats anything from the grocery store. The planting steps are simple enough to finish in an afternoon before the ground freezes.

Our bulb bins and seed garlic are stocked now. Stop by and we’ll help you plan your beds.

Before the Freeze Sale starts today.

50% off all trees. 35% off all shrubs and perennials.

Fall is one of the best times of year to plant. The air is cool, the soil is still warm, and roots have time to settle in before winter, which means a stronger start next spring.

Come walk the yard, pick out the tree you've been eyeing all season, and get it in the ground while there's still time.

Sale runs through November 30. Discount applies to in-stock trees, shrubs, and perennials.
