The truss load arrived this week so we spent a couple days prepping so everything goes smooth next week! Every gable is prepped and ready to set! A mishap between me and my cordless skillsaw tried to slow me down, along with some rain, but I managed ! Excited to see the roof come together !

Photo dump from the repurposing of the barn to a horse stable project. The weather was nice enough throughout the winter that I could pick and choose days to work on interior finishes and to continue with demo on the adjoining lean-too. This spring we tackled complete removal of the lean-too so we could add proper footings, foundation, and raise that ceiling as well. It's ready for roof steel now, and to get the plumbing roughed in to the stables and tack room.

I had a client that ordered some doors via Wayfair. After waiting for the doors to arrive for almost 6 weeks, they arrived and were damaged. I mentioned that for a minimal price increase on materials and labor, I would build doors to their specifications, and the doors would be real wood, twice as thick, and they would know what they were getting! This is what we came up with, and we had them installed in less than a week. Thanks for trusting the process !

The beginning of a huge project.... turning a turn of the century barn into a horse stable. This is going to be a fun one! These are pics of a coffered ceiling being added above the original loft which is scheduled to be removed.
