Established in 1993, Family Owned & Operated Star Ridge Aquatics, LLC is your complete water garden resource. Celebrating over 30 years in business, family owned and operated Star Ridge Aquatics, LLC builds custom water features for both residential and commercial sites. From our retail shop, we offer aquatic plants, Koi and goldfish, and water garden supplies. Come see us at 180 Star Ridge Road in Carthage, NC, for all things decorative water! Although our retail shop hours vary per season, we build, service and maintain ponds all year long. Please call or message us with any needs, and we will set up an appointment at your convenience. We are so thankful for our clients, and we strive for excellent customer service! In addition to Star Ridge Aquatics, we are growing the Farm at Star Ridge that offers seasonal berries, muscadine grapes, farm-fresh eggs, honey, and all of the goodness from our local, family farm!

💡 If you want a clear pond, then install a UV Sterilizer.
🌿 CLIENT REQUEST: I bought a home with an existing pond, and the water stays green no matter what I do. Can you help?
💦 STAR RIDGE SOLUTION: After verifying that the pond had proper circulation (pump size) and filtration (medium Aquafalls biological filter), we suggested the addition of a 75-watt EasyPro Ultraviolet Sterilizer. After installing the UV and a bypass valve system to fine tune the proper flow through the UV unit, the pond is now perfectly clear. To keep the pond clear, our client will simply replace the UV bulb once per year.

🌿 CLIENT REQUEST: We purchased a home about 8 years ago with an existing water feature. After many years, we would like to upgrade the system for less maintenance and better water quality.

💦 STAR RIDGE SOLUTION: After an on-site evaluation, we decided a good cleaning and removal of rocks and gravel from pond bottom was needed. With the pond cleaned out, we then installed a 55-watt EasyPro Ultraviolet Sterilizer and a small Aquafalls biological filter. After we refreshed the waterfall, we moved the water lilies, that were previously rooted into the gravel pond bottom, into aquatic planting pots. Keeping all aquatic plants in pots makes pond maintenance and plant management much easier. Our clients can now enjoy their renewed pond for years to come!
