Cold weather is coming, and we’re ready with cozy, handmade crochet winter hats featuring removable poms!

Wear your hat with the pom for a classic winter look, swap it for a different color or remove it for a different style! Mix things up and make it your own. The removable pom also makes it machine washable!

Handmade with love by The Stitch Niche, these hats are perfect for keeping warm while adding a little personality to your winter wardrobe. 🧣⛄

Meet Bunnywise and Hare-ifier!🎈🐰

Our newest two-for-one creation features a cutesy play on Art the Clown 🤡🔪 and Pennywise 🎈! One body, two very different kinds of nightmare fuel. 😂🖤

These creepy little bunnies are bringing a whole new meaning to split personalities! 👀 Which head would you rather run into in a dark hallway? 🤣

Handmade with love, a little horror, and LOTS of personality! 🖤🧶

Well… I made a Mothman for the market, but we have a problem.

He was supposed to be up for adoption, but somewhere between making him and finishing him, he decided he lives here now with his Wendigo and Wizard Frog friends. 🤣

I guess sometimes you make a cryptid so cute that you just can’t let him go! ❤️ No regrets… except maybe that I now have one less plushie for the market. 😅

Does anyone else have a habit of accidentally adopting the things they make? 👀

🐍🎃 Sssslithering into spooky season! 👻🧟

This Halloween colored snake is bringing all the spooky vibes with a whole lot of handmade cuteness! Whether you’re a fan of creepy/cute critters or just love a fun pop of Halloween color, this little noodle is ready to slither its way into your collection!

The catch? We’ll most likely only have ONE available since we have so many things to make and they take so much time to work up. So if this spooky little noodle catches your eye, you’ll want to snag it before it slithers off to its forever home! 💜🧡🖤

We call this little guy Halvsies. He’s a two-for-one cuteness overload and so much fun to make, with endless color combinations and embroidery options to choose from!

And the best part? With two heads and one body, these two are stuck together forever...literally! 😂 They may be two halves, but they make one adorable little guy (or girl)!

Currently working on Wendigos for my next market!

Each one has 9 individual pieces that are either sewn on or crocheted in, not counting the head, body, or fur collar. They are definitely a labor of love, but seeing them come together makes every stitch worth it.

Wendigos are one of my absolute favorite cryptids, so I may be a little biased… I love these plushies so much that I kept the very first one I made in my office. He lives with me now. 🤣

I can’t wait to see these little guys all finished and ready for their new homes!

Algonquin Harvest Market was great yesterday. It was the most beautiful weather we've had for a market of 2026 so far.

Now it's onto prep for Foxtober in McHenry and Witches Day Out in Woodstock. They are both happening the weekend of 10/17 and it will be our first time doing 2 different markets in one weekend, which I'm both nervous and excited for.

We've also officially started making stock for Spooky Season, which is my personal favorite! 🍂🎃👻🧙⚰️🕷️🦇🧟
