Now this is a backyard transformation!

This project in Chapel Hill included much more than a simple update. We replaced the roof, removed the existing deck and screened porch, built a spacious new sunroom and deck, constructed a retaining wall, prepared the property for a lap pool, and created an entirely new outdoor living area.

Swipe through to see where this project began, some of the work that went into it, and the incredible finished transformation.

A strong transformation starts with a solid foundation—and a dependable roof.

During the roof replacement at a Chapel Hill project, removing the old materials revealed areas of significant water damage and deteriorated wood. Our team addressed the damaged areas before installing the new roofing system.

These progress photos offer a look at the work homeowners usually never see, but that makes all the difference in the finished result.

From an aging screened porch to a bright, spacious sunroom!

This custom addition was built from the ground up and features a vaulted ceiling, skylights, abundant windows, new flooring, recessed lighting, a ceiling fan, and its own climate-control system. We also constructed a new deck to connect the sunroom with the rest of the backyard.

The final stage of this backyard transformation brought the entire project together.

Extensive site preparation, drainage work, a new concrete area, a retaining wall, and the lap pool installation turned this formerly open backyard into a functional outdoor living space designed for relaxation and enjoyment.

The completed space connects beautifully with the new sunroom and deck while making much better use of the property.
