Got a call from Mrs. Denise in West Branch about a deck on a condo she didn't feel was safe enough for her grandchildren! So we jumped in and agreed to strip it down and convert the 16 in on center framing over to 12 in on center to prep it for some TimberTech PVC decking that should last her the rest of her life as well as we are going to install some black aluminum railing with a TimberTech drink cap!! And as you can see the neighbor wasn't quite for sure how to repair the boards underneath the deck divider walls in the last two pictures so we are going to give him a hand and fix his deck so that it is supported and nobody will step through the decking he installed!!

We got a call from Mr. Coley Cummings and wife in Marion worried about their deck being ready to fall off of the house the video in the comments will show you just how close that was to being the case!! Our team here at Preferred Home Repair was able to get in there remove as much weight off of the deck as we could before jacking the deck up removing the LVL beam installing a new beam with new 6x6 legs on the front and got the deck framing reattached to the house properly!! After that became the fun part putting back a deck that will last this family throughout a lifetime of entertainment purposes! The cedar decking speaks for itself and classed with the black aluminum railing chosen makes this deck pop!!
