When was the last time anyone actually took a bath in a tub? 👀

If you had to think about it, a tub-to-shower conversion might make more sense for you. This is one of our most common requests, and it's usually for good reasons: nobody in the house takes baths, the tub is a hazard to step over, and the room would work far better with a proper shower in that footprint.

But there’s more to it than taking out the tub and picking new tile:

🔧 The drainage may need changes.
🔍 The exposed subfloor needs checking before anything gets covered.
💧 The shower needs proper slope and continuous waterproofing. Tile and grout alone won’t keep water out.
🚿 The entry and glass layout need planning so getting in feels comfortable.

Got a tub you only use for showers? Message us and let’s talk about your options.

The framing phase of this home addition is underway. Each beam is carefully aligned to create a solid foundation for everything that follows. Precision at this stage is what sets the tone for quality throughout the entire build.

Building a deck isn't just about putting wood together; it's ensuring structural integrity so the whole family can enjoy it safely. 🛠️ The precision in measurements and the quality of materials make all the difference. “Just five more minutes out here.” Said about six times. ☕🌲

A wood ceiling, a seat by the fire, and a view worth putting your phone down for. This is the kind of space that makes staying home an actual plan.

Got a porch you’d love to spend more time on? Let’s talk about it.

Behind the scenes: the support structure is in and railings installed. Every post is plumb and every connection reinforced to create a deck built for longevity. 🛠️ This level of precision ensures a safe, stable outdoor space for years to come.

Nothing beats hearing that a deck we built turned out exactly how the homeowner wanted it. When you're dealing with rot repair and custom features like wider stairs and black spindle accents, the details matter. Our crew tackled everything from fixing a leaky roof issue affecting the old slider to installing a new double-paned, argon-filled window that seals tight against Michigan winters. We also handled laminate flooring in the kitchen to tie the whole project together. Reviews like this remind us why we love what we do. Servicing Cedar Springs and surrounding areas.
