After a lot of thought, we’ve decided it’s time for a little change here at Twisted Roots Gardens.
Our family is busy, our kids are growing up WAY too fast, and life just seems to move faster every year. We’ve realized that we want more time together and more time to focus on creating the kind of homestead we want for our family, growing more of our own food, raising animals, working the land, and becoming a little more self-sufficient.
So, we are NOT closing Twisted Roots. ❤️
Instead, the nursery will be moving to BY APPOINTMENT ONLY rather than keeping regular weekend hours.
And we're actually pretty excited about what that could mean.
Without the pressure of having the nursery open every weekend, we'll have more time to grow, create, experiment, and see where Twisted Roots takes us.
Maybe that means more than plants. Fresh vegetables, chicken eggs, produce, flowers, plants, and who knows what else. The possibilities really are endless when we give ourselves the time and freedom to grow this place naturally.
We'll still have plants available, and you'll still be able to come shop, just reach out and schedule a time with us. We may also announce special open weekends, plant sales, seasonal produce, and whatever else the homestead has to offer.
Most importantly, this change lets us continue doing what we love without the pressure of having to build our family life around business hours.
We want to spend more time with our kids while they're still kids.
We want to work in our gardens.
We want to build our homestead. And we want Twisted Roots to grow with our family instead of taking us away from it.
Thank you to every single person who has bought a plant, visited the nursery, told a friend about us, or followed our journey. You're a huge part of why we've been able to do this.
This isn't goodbye.
It's just a new season.
And we're pretty excited to see what grows from it.
