We sat down with Justin to learn a little more about the person behind the machine.

Justin has been with Finished Edge Technology for over 4½ years, working as a Machine Operator— a role where precision matters.

When we asked just how precise his work needs to be, his answer was impressive:
“To the hundredth of a millimeter.”

Every cut needs to be in the right place. Every fold needs to look right. Over the years, Justin estimates he’s cut hundreds of thousands of planks.

And while the process may look straightforward, different materials require different adjustments. Justin knows the material, understands the machine, and makes the small changes necessary to keep things running right.

That attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship is a big part of what keeps our quality where it needs to be.

Then we had to ask the important question:

“What’s one fun fact nobody here knows about you?”

Justin’s answer?
