Xeriscape Demonstration Garden…

Xeriscaping is a landscape design approach that focuses on using minimal water and upkeep, making it especially well-suited for dry areas. Some folks call it zeroscaping, which suggests no landscaping at all. The word “xeri” comes from the Greek word Xeros, meaning “dry.”

If you’re in Arizona and thinking of checking out the Xeriscape Demonstration Garden, it is located at the City of Tempe Woman’s Club Park— 1265 N. College Avenue.

Another Sapote!

This is a Suebelle Sapote —I now have 4 Sapote trees and wouldn’t mind adding more…

This Suebelle variety is a favorite among fruit tree enthusiasts (ME) because it’s a small, easy-to-grow tree that gives you sweet, creamy, custard-like fruit with a tropical twist, like peach, banana, vanilla, and caramel.

As for the banana trees— they will be going to the school garden..
