When your main personality is adding character to everything in your house 🩵

Danielle Cather Cohen had a sale last summer and we went into the store looking for random pieces that jumped out at us. This one was rolled up in the corner and I didn’t even see it until her store designer said “I’ll give you this for a great price” and we said “hmm it’s kinda big I’m not sure”. We ran out in the rain, sat in the car, and said “it’s amazing we have to make it work”, and ran back inside to buy it 🤩

One year later we finally found the time to frame it and hang it in THE perfect spot in our living room. Now the space is complete. We can forever breathe in the salt water through this beautiful painting. Thanks, Danielle for your incredible talent! 🙏

FOYER REVEAL ✨

We have worked 4 months in here and we done 😅😮‍💨
Chad slaved over this shiplap and all of these meticulous cuts through the winter. These poles leading to the dining room were brutal to wrap. He had to make so many little cuts and measurements 🤪 I came in at the end and filled, caulked, and painted. Of course decorated 💁‍♀️

Thank you for following along with this project 🎉 we have had a blast. And now, the first impression of our home isn’t a dumpster fire of a space…it actually feels welcoming ✨

Foyer Reno but it’s Reality TV PART 2

It’s the nose blowing for me 🤪I have a head cold and had no part in this week’s reno except tissues so…

Listen, I’m not the one measuring and cutting on this project - that’s Chad’s hard work right there 💪the shiplap PRO! My job is the monotonous word filling and sanding, which takes no brain cells - just podcasts, music, sermons, mindless tasks of listening ☺️🥰
