If you caught yesterday’s post, ‘Life of a Throw Pillow’… pillows are often the smallest pieces in the room, but often the ones we spend the most time on. 🐚 Every pillow is designed for exactly where it lives: the scale of the bed, the depth of the sofa, how it’ll be leaned on and lived with. Then come the details, like trim, piping, a monogram or a ruffle.

‘Tis the season… for High Point Market! 🍂 So excited to be back. Our whole team kicked off the day exploring the antique showrooms at and spent hours browsing, sourcing, measuring and buying. We can’t wait to bring these treasures home to our clients and our studio. Day two, we’re coming for you!

Some colors come and go. Merlot is not one of them. 🍷

There’s something about these deep, wine-soaked shades of burgundy that feels both timeless and completely current. It’s rich without being heavy, moody without being dark, and it brings an instant warmth to a room, especially this time of year.

We love layering it in unexpected ways: a grasscloth ceiling, velvet dining chairs, a whisper of plum on the walls. It plays beautifully with brass, crisp whites, and a bold piece of art, and it never stops feeling elevated.

A classic for a reason. Swipe through a few of my favorite merlot moments.

No two of my days ever look the same. Between installs, client meetings and whatever the day decides to throw at me, consistency just isn’t part of my workday, so I protect my mornings.

Up early. Coffee. Let George out. Fresh air. Then right back into bed.

And yes, I scroll. I know not everyone’s a fan of morning scrolling, but it’s the only quiet, mindless window I get all day. It’s also where my to-do list comes together before everything else takes over.

It’s my anchor to my day! ☕️
