The window for fall tree work closes faster than most folks think. 🌲
Once the ground freezes, big removals get harder and snow-loaded limbs are the ones that end up on a roof. Trimming back the canopy and clearing out anything crowded or dead now beats scrambling in January.
We've got room to line up tree work for the coming week.
Reply and we'll come out and take a look.

One thing our crew notices this time of year: once the leaves come down, the trees stop hiding things. Hollow spots, old cracks, dead wood way up high β€” all of it shows plain as day once the canopy's bare. It's honestly the best few weeks of the year to actually see what your trees are doing.

If something up top has been nagging at you, this is the window to get it handled before winter winds put it to the test. We're lining up next week's schedule now β€” drop us a message if you want on it. 🌲

Anybody with a chainsaw can drop a tree. Doing it without wrecking your fence, your roofline, or their own back is the hard part.

A real crew makes clean cuts that actually heal, hauls every last branch out, grinds the stump flush, and carries insurance so a bad day isn't your problem. Cheap help leaves ruts in the lawn and a mess for you to deal with.

We've still got openings this weekend. Send us a message and we'll come look before the first heavy snow loads those limbs up. 🌲

Three signs a tree needs a pro's eyes before winter sets in:

– Mushrooms or shelf fungus growing near the base. That's usually rot working from the inside, where you can't see it.
– Bark flaking off in large sheets, leaving smooth, pale wood underneath.
– A section of the canopy that leafed out thin or late this past season while the rest filled in fine.

Any one of those is worth a real look before the ground freezes and the snow load piles on. We've still got room on the schedule this weekend β€” send us a photo and we'll tell you what we're seeing. 🌳

Fall tree work is booking up fast, and this weekend is nearly spoken for.

We've still got a couple of Saturday slots open for removals and trimming.

Got a big limb hanging over the roof or a tree crowding the house? That's exactly the kind of thing to handle before the snow flies.

Message us and we'll lock in your spot this weekend. 🌲

Did you know fall is actually one of the best times of year to take a tree down or trim it back? 🌳

Once the leaves drop, we can see the whole structure β€” weak limbs, bad crotches, decay β€” none of it hides behind foliage anymore. And a dormant tree handles the cut far better than one in full summer push, so it heals cleaner come spring.

If you've got a tree that needs to come down or get thinned out before the snow flies, we've got weekend slots open. DM us to grab one this weekend.

3 signs a tree needs to come down before the snow flies:
1. Dead patches up top while the lower branches still leaf out
2. Limbs rubbing the roof, gutters, or hanging over power lines
3. Cracks or soft, peeling bark on the main trunk

Spot any of these? Deal with it now and it's a clean, planned job β€” wait, and the first heavy snow makes the call for you.

Planning weekend yard work? Message us and we'll get you on the schedule. 🌲

Myth: Cutting the top off a tall tree β€” hacking the whole crown way back β€” makes it safer.

Fact: It does the opposite. Topping starves the tree and triggers a mess of weak, fast shoots that snap easily under wind and ice. You end up with a bigger hazard, not a smaller one. A proper crown reduction takes real height off while keeping the tree sound.

If a tree has gotten too big for comfort, this is the stretch to handle it right β€” before the winter storms test it. DM us to get on the schedule. 🌳

Got a call this week about a big silver maple with two heavy limbs stretched right over a homeowner's roof. One wet snow and that's coming through the shingles.

We took the limbs down clean, cleared the weight off the house, and hauled the mess out the same visit. πŸͺ΅

Planning any weekend yard work? Now's the window to handle trees before winter starts loading them up.

Reply and we'll come out and take a look.

Honest question for the homeowners: which tree on your property do you keep meaning to deal with but haven't?

Everybody's got one. The dead one you walk past every day. The giant that's gotten a little too cozy with the roofline. The one that drops half its canopy every time the wind picks up.

Name yours in the comments 🌳 This is the stretch where it pays to plan ahead β€” booking the work now means it's off your list well before winter loads those branches up with ice and snow. The calendar fills fast once the first real freeze hits.
