NV1- This is the reason "NV1" is one of my favorite varieties.... (This fig wrinkled up on the tree without spoiling, and was awesome)

A great adriatic fig, that does better than most of the other adriatic types with hanging on the tree, drying, and concentrating flavor without splitting or spoiling. An awesome berry taste inside, that sometimes reminds me of a fruit roll-up (or raspberry/strawberry fruit leather). One of my favorites this year and last year. It is smaller than average for an adriatic fig, but makes up for the size with its awesome flavor.

Irene's Black Greek has been ripening some really sweet and syrupy figs this year. For a first year tree it has been really productive.

Bass's Favorite Fig, was one of my favorite figs of the day yesterday. Great medium to large fig, that consistently ripens excellent tasting figs that are awesome on the inside when you cut them open like the ones in the photos here. Consistently great taste too. Cessac, an excellent variety that is still ripening some great figs for me over 2 months after it started ripening figs this season at the beginning of August. Ripening figs over a longer period of time is a fig variety trait that I love as a fig grower. Commercial fig growers/sellers are actually looking for the opposite most of the time. Some varieties ripen all of their figs over a short window of time. I have some of those, but often prefer ones that have a longer ripening window.
