Goodbye, summer. 🤍☀️

A little life outside the studio. Creativity doesn’t happen in a vacuum—it’s shaped by the people, places, and moments that fill the spaces in between.

Grateful for this guy, who’s been beside me through all of it. Here’s to a new season, new inspiration, and whatever comes next.

Okay, I can finally share where this one is going. 👀🎬

Remember that custom piece I had 3 days to make for a Netflix movie?

It’ll be appearing in the upcoming rom-com *Better Than the Movies*, coming to Netflix next year. 🥹

Still a little surreal knowing something I made in my studio is going to end up on the big screen.

Who else loves a good rom-com? 👀

A little throwback to three years ago, when Voyage Minnesota featured me and my work. So much has changed since then—and it’s fun to look back at where I was and how far this creative journey has taken me.

Still wrapping my head around this one. 😅

A producer reached out and asked if I could make a custom piece for an upcoming Netflix movie… and have it ready in 3 days.

A little stressful? Yes. 😂
Was I going to say no? Absolutely not.

So here’s a little peek at what those three days in the studio looked like.

Now it’s finished, out of my hands, and headed to set. 🎬🤍

Okay, be honest… would you take the 3-day deadline or panic first? 😂

Hi, I’m Alana.

Some people paint. Some people sculpt.

I apparently looked at fiber and thought, “Yep, that’s the one.” 😂

I create handmade fiber art inspired by texture, movement, and the way a piece can completely change how a space feels.

Thanks for being here and letting me share what I love. 🤍
