Some spaces are designed to slow the pace of the day.

At Historic Aspen, contemporary lines and layered outdoor comfort extend the home’s sense of retreat beyond the interior.

Some houses are designed to be lived in slowly.

Set along Maui’s southern coastline, Mauka Makai was conceived as a multi-generational tropical retreat rooted in connection, relaxed luxury, and a quiet dialogue between indoor and outdoor living.

There are homes that shelter. And then there are homes that carry history forward.

Historic Hallam Renovation in Aspen is a thoughtful reawakening of a cherished residence—preserving its architectural integrity while elevating it for modern mountain living.

Rooted in Aspen’s legacy yet refined for today, this renovation addition honors the character of the original structure while introducing intentional updates that enhance light, livability, and connection to the outdoors. Every line, material, and proportion was carefully considered to ensure the home remains in harmony with its surroundings.

As Aspen architects with over 70 years of heritage, we believe renovation is not about erasing the past—it’s about crafting continuity. This project embodies how we honor history while shaping what comes next.

Design that lives in harmony with the landscape.
Your Journey. Your Story. Your Legacy.

Sunshine, palm trees, orchids - these are just a few of the attributes that I love about Florida. Add in artwork, layered texture, comfortable seating and now, it is home.
